Use to be a Long John's seafood restaurant. Now the serve homemade specials with tasty burgers. Hugs selection of food. Slots ,pool and music while you wait.
Went here for dinner with my boyfriend as I've heard the food was great. Let me say it's better than great, it was delicious! We both had the filet cooked medium rare and it was absolutely perfect! The dinner came with 2 sides. I asked if a salad was an option and was told it's not. I didn't mind an up charge but I had to order it separately. The baked potato was large and I didn't care for the Mac n cheese I ordered as it was bland and pretty flavorless. My only complaint was the service. Slow as well as poor. We got our salads at the same time as dinner. Our server never asked if I wanted another beer although the bottle was at the edge of the table. Another server did get me one after 15 min or so. Our server never asked if our food was cooked to order or if we wanted anything more. I also had to request our check. I should add that we were there at 5 on a Friday and they were not busy but by 6 they were filling up. We will be back because the food was phenomenal and the prices were great! Food Price Service I tipped 18% but better service would have earned her 25% or more.
Take out order. Brisket sandwich, slaw, gizzards, potato balls, and 1/2 LB cheeseburger were all good. French fries, not good. This is a great local bar/restaurant. Much better than other local sit-down restaurants. We will keep supporting them!
We have been going here for years so I'll give some advice for people who have never been here. 1. If you are in a hurry, go somewhere else. This place keeps overhead low as well as prices and in order to do that the sacrifice is speed. 2. This is a dive bar with great food and drinks. If you are going to complain about decor or expect a spotless location go somewhere else. 3. If you want good food an plenty of it, this is your place. If you want another beer faster just go up to the bar and get it. Order your food and go play pool or darts. Food is alway hot and perfectly cooked. Last time I checked the owner was still doing the cooking and send him a thank you.
We enjoy meeting my wife's brother and his girlfriend for dinner here on a regular basis. We always get plenty of food for the $$ we spend. He loves the ribeye, the ladies love the filet, and I love the ribs. We get two meals out of each order. The sides are also very good. We have always received great service. It's not the fanciest looking place, but we don't care. Every time my brother in law ask if we want to meet them there it only takes us a second to say yes.

it's a wonderful atmosphere with friendly smart quick waitresses, the food is amazing! I enjoy the steak fillet. there's a very comfortable place to smoke out back if you enjoy smoking. slot machines, it's just a great place with great lighting. definitely a good place to go on a date. it's more a restaurant than a bar and it closes earlier than most bar and grills so I usually go about 5 and have a very enjoyable time.
